Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was previously a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hub for excellent food and live performances. It has now changed owners, getting an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Allegan County ( AL-ə-gən) is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 120,502. The county seat is Allegan. The name was coined by Henry Rowe Schoolcraft to sound like a Native American word.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
