Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different piece of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant became a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality
