Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hub for excellent food and entertainment. It has since switched over to new owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Allegan County ( AL-ə-gən) is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 120,502. The county seat is Allegan. The name was coined by Henry Rowe Schoolcraft to sound like a Native American word.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
