Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was previously a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hotspot for great food and live performances. It has since switched over to new owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
