Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant became a hub for great food and entertainment. It has now changed owners, receiving an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
