Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new piece of land that was once a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hotspot for excellent food and live performances. It has now changed owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
