Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hotspot for excellent food and live performances. It has now changed owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

It is located on the southern tip of Tasmania. It is bordered by the Huon River to the north, and Picton River to the north-west. It includes Dover, Geeveston and Southport, and part of the Southwest National Park.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
