Founded by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the building suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new piece of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant was a hotspot for great food and live performances. It has since changed owners, receiving a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
