Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different plot of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant became a hotspot for great food and live performances. It has since changed owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Allegan County ( AL-ə-gən) is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 120,502. The county seat is Allegan. The name was coined by Henry Rowe Schoolcraft to sound like a Native American word.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
