Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different plot of land that was previously a resort. The bustling restaurant became a hub for excellent food and live performances. It has since switched over to new owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
