Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place known for its home-cooked meals. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different piece of land that was once a resort. The bustling restaurant became a hotspot for great food and entertainment. It has now changed owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Dedication to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
