Opened by the Atherton family in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in place known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a new plot of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for fantastic food and entertainment. It has since changed owners, getting a remodel in 2013 at the West Olive location and adding a 2nd location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
