Founded by the Atherton family in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual place beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant suffered fire damage in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has since switched over to new owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Ravenna ( rə-VEN-ə, Italian: [raˈvenna], also locally [raˈvɛnna] (
listen); Romagnol: Ravèna) is the capital city of the Province of Ravenna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. It was the capital city of the Western Roman Empire from 408 for most of the 5th century until its collapse in 476. It then served as the capital of the Ostrogothic Kingdom until it was re-conquered in 540 by the Byzantine Empire. Afterwards, the city formed the centre of the Byzantine Exarchate of Ravenna until the last exarch was executed by the Lombards in 751.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
