Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked meals. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reopened it on a different plot of land that was previously a resort. The busy restaurant became a hub for fantastic food and live performances. It has now changed owners, receiving an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids more recently.Our Commitment to Quality

Spring Lake, originally named Edmonton Beach, is a village in central Alberta, Canada. It is located on the eastern shore of Spring Lake, approximately 20 km (12 mi) and 40 km (25 mi) west of the cities of Spruce Grove and Edmonton respectively. Hasse Lake is located 6 km (3.7 mi) southwest of Spring Lake. It was known as the Summer Village of Edmonton Beach from 1959 to 1999.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
