Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the original Sandy Point Restaurant was a casual establishment known for its home-cooked dishes. After the restaurant caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a different plot of land that was once a resort. The busy restaurant was a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has now switched over to new owners, getting an upgrade in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and getting a 2nd location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Dedication to Quality

Muskegon ( məs-KEE-gən), a city in the US. state of Michigan, is the county seat of Muskegon County. Situated around a harbor of Lake Michigan, Muskegon is known for fishing, sailing regattas, and pleasure boating, and as a commercial- and cruise-ship port. It is a popular vacation destination because of the expansive freshwater beaches, historic architecture, and public art collection. It is the most populous city along Lake Michigan's Eastern shore. At the 2020 United States Census, the city's population was 38,318. The southwest corner of Muskegon Township, the city is administratively autonomous.
Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
