Opened by the Athertons in 1960, the first Sandy Point Restaurant was a drive-in establishment beloved for its home-cooked dishes. After the building caught fire in 1975, the Athertons reinvented it on a new piece of land that was previously a resort. The dynamic restaurant was a hub for terrific food and live performances. It has since changed owners, receiving an update in 2013 at the West Olive restaurant location and adding a second location in Grand Rapids in 2020.Our Commitment to Quality

Had a solid dinner on the screened in porch here. Beet salad with hanger steak was delish, but a bit heavy on the dressing. I'd maybe get it on the side. Our toddler loved the mussels.
